Instructions for submitting abstracts
- Abstracts must be sent via myZCGGabstract (online abstract submission service). Abstracts sent by fax or email will not be accepted.
- The submission deadline is 15 octombrie 2025, orele 24.00. Nu va mai fi posibilă nicio prelungire. Rezumatele ar trebui să conțină informații noi și originale, care nu au fost publicate în altă parte înainte de 15 octombrie 2025.
- Authors are requested to follow the abstract editing guidelines. Abstracts that do not follow these editing guidelines will not be accepted.
- In order for the abstract submission to be validated, the first author must complete the registration formalities and pay the event participation fee; invited lecturers are exempt from this condition.
- The presentation of the abstract is the author's formal commitment to present the material in the format, session and time established by the Scientific Committee. Any change in the author's intentions regarding this presentation must be sent in writing to the Conference operator, SC Focus Event SRL, using the form contact. If the original author is unable to present the abstract, it is his/her responsibility to ensure that one of the co-authors takes over this role. The participation fee paid by the original author will not be cancelled/refunded, but will be validated for his/her replacement.
- Authors must include their preference for presentation method: virtual oral or poster. The scientific committee will decide the final presentation method.
- After submitting your abstract, you will receive a confirmation email with the title of the submitted abstract. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please write a support request via the form contact.
- The author submitting the abstract is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.

Title
A maximum of 200 characters, including spaces, typed in lowercase letters, excluding abbreviations and study names.
Recognition of funding
If your research has received commercial or institutional support, you will be asked to list these as part of the submission process. Please prepare a one-sentence statement for this purpose.
Authors and institutions
List of authors
Your abstract must list at least one author to be submitted. Please note that the first author should be the abstract presenter by default.
Affiliated institutions
This is a required step. You can fill in a maximum of two affiliated institutions for each author.
SUMMARY CONTENT. EVALUATION. PUBLICATION
Abstracts submitted using animal studies must comply with Directive 2010/63/EU.
Any medical research involving human subjects must adhere to the principles of the World Medical Association's Declaration of Helsinki. Please note that the patient's photograph should not be used, and the patient should never be identifiable in your presentation.
The summary will be structured using the following headings:
Introduction
Methods
Results
Conclusion
The abstract must be a maximum of 300 words.
Do not include:
- Tables or figures.
- The use of trade names of drugs, brands and registered trademarks is strictly prohibited. Instead, you can use generic names of drugs. Drugs must be mentioned by their active substances or pharmacological names.
- Name and location of the company
- Websites and email addresses.
- The evaluation and selection process is carried out without identifying the authors. The title and body text must not contain identifying features such as: names (authors or others), names of institutes (hospitals, medical schools, clinics ...), cities.
Do not include funding sources in the summary content. Use the appropriate field.
Limit the use of acronyms and abbreviations. Define the first use with an acronym or abbreviation in parentheses.
Abstract evaluation and selection
All abstracts will be evaluated without identifying the authors by the members of the Scientific Committee of the event. The final selection will be made by the Scientific Committee, which will determine the format, day and time of presentation for each abstract. Rescheduling or changes will not be possible. Accepted abstracts will be scheduled as E-Poster or Moderated E-Poster.
All abstract submitters will be notified by email at the end of September 2025 about the outcome (accepted or not) of the evaluation and selection process. Please ensure that the email provided is correct, as all correspondence will be sent via email. If the abstract is accepted, instructions on submitting the abstract will be provided online.
Publication of abstracts
All submitted and accepted abstracts will be published in the online Abstracts Volume of the Congress, a volume published by a publishing house accredited by the Romanian College of Physicians.
STATEMENT OF ORIGINALITY
By submitting your work to Cardiological Days „Prof. Dr. George I. M. Georgescu” (ZCGG2025):
- You consent to the use of the names of the authors and their affiliations in connection with the publication of your work.
- The author(s) represents and warrants to ZCGG2025 and its organizers that he/she/they is/are the sole author(s) of the paper, that all authors have participated in and contributed to and agree with the content and conclusions of the abstract, and that it is original and does not infringe any copyright, proprietary or personal rights of any third party. The submitter of the abstract hereby declares that the submitted paper is original, except for excerpts from copyrighted works fully authorized by the copyright holders, and that all statements stated as facts are based on thorough examination and investigation of their accuracy.
- Submitted abstracts must not have been published in other journals and/or online publications, nor presented at any previous congress.
The sender signs for all co-authors. He/she assumes responsibility for the submission and presentation rules on behalf of all co-authors.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
All presenters must display a slide at the beginning of their presentation (at the bottom of the poster for poster presentations) indicating information related to potential conflicts of interest for themselves and all co-authors, as applicable, or to indicate that they have nothing to disclose. Please state “none” if there are no conflicts.
A potential conflict of interest can arise from various relationships, past or present, such as employment relationships, consulting, investments and ownership of shares/shares, research funding, family relationships, etc. All potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
